Anyone changed career into ICSA/corporate governance?

Hi I’m 34 and considering a complete career change. Has anyone completed the ICSA qualification as a mature entrant? How hard is it to get a decent paying job? I really want to leave my current job. It it pays well so I’m feeling trapped (mortgage + baby on the way).
