And 33 miners were trapped? 33 is a holy number in Christianity as it is said to be the age Jesus was when he was crucified. omg!

If it's a sign, then it's a sign to close of the cave, let them rot to die and await their resurrection

I'd be thinking if there was a god, they wouldn't have been stuck down there in the first place.

And they've been down there for 69 days. God clearly wants us to get some oral sex going. Hallelujah!

Well if people are going to thank god when they get out you have to ask why they don't blame him for letting them get trapped in the first place. Best just leave him out of it entirely tbh

Yeah, wouldn't be the first time god's been behind some sort of ridiculous punishment

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

That's up to the miners to decide. As for the thread - waste of time.

The miners had set up a make shift church where they prayed they would be rescued.
It seems their faith kept them strong.

I don't get religious types. If God loves us so much, then why is always miserable things that are a "sign"? Or why is He always so mean to us?

The flood, trapping men down a mine, stigmata, etc.

If this is what He does when he's angry, I'd sure hate to see what he does when he's annoyed.
