Vegard Vinge is thought to have received up to $37M NOK or $4M USD over a 12-year period from the Norwegian taxpayer. Videos of his performances caused outrage on social media. According to local news source, Nettavisen:

In the video, the artist sprays paint out of the ass, then uses a long paint brush he controls using the anus to spread the paint across the canvas.

The above mentioned video was a clip taken from a 12-hour theatrical performance delivered in Berlin.

Some of the Irish painters who pioneered the genre back in the early 80s were absolutely aMaze-ing I have to say.

The sad thing about artists is their talent is usually only recognized after they die. Most die poor and get a pipers burial.

He puts absolutely everything he has in his body into his art and has to live on a paltry 4 million from the minister for art. (Who I’m hoping is a friend or relative and not some sicko who would waste tax money on poop art for enjoyment)

The cheek of him. He must be having some craic. He takes it seriously though because he clearly gives a sh1te. He's the number 2 best artist in Norway. He's doing good though, he's on a bogroll!

he's around ages, least 2010 there was vids of him squirting paint in hin inimitable fashion, maybe before, hemusta been atit a while to garnish a 4m

apart from that, Norway is class, really miss oslo sometimes, like really and when i hear about stuff like this i kinda just wanna be there, pissin in snow etc
