Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has it always been the way that people will get over a terrible event if you hand them some cash?

I appreciate there are genuine cases of actions that left people with lifelong issues like brain damage, disability etc and they need money to care for them or adapt houses for the rest of their lives, but I was listening to the Harvey Weinstein story this morning and see that some of the claimants who said this man was a beast, a sexual predator, a rapist etc, will be grand as long as they all get 500k each.

Surely if they want to teach him a lesson and see him punished, they should not rest until he gets jail time? If we allow guilty perps to just pay their way out, then where is the justice?
