Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did you not know that images from tripod dont work?

You get the image location and then put in fromt of it and after it.
    Then it will show up.

Hey Roadrunner what track were your shots taken at?Thay are really good.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,967 ✭✭✭RoadRunner

2nd last pic was taken at lisburn up north. But that track changes all the time, so those nice corners weren't there last time I was up.

Last pic was taken on a practice track in wicklow somewhere. All other pictures were taken on a practice track that I'm not allowed to give out the location of (we can't have guys turning up on bikes all the time or we'd get kicked off it) That particular track is not quite as good as the pictures make it out to be though and it doesn't have any jumps so it can be quite boring in relation to other tracks.

If you are a photographer get yourself out to Doon (Athlone) for the 6hour 3person per team long cross. It takes place over a 10-12 minute lap of parts of Doon motocross track and surrounding woods and open grass areas. Best craic I've ever had on a bike and some excellent phototography potential. I'm pretty sure it's this weekend.:D

well, I've given up skateboarding for a year and a half now and spend any free time I can, in the water, freediving and spearfishing. Here's a pic from me returning from a dive. It made a tasty meal for all, courtesy of our chef. No extreme sports there, just a damn good time ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 607 ✭✭✭Kenjd

    MMMMM that fish looks good!
The idea of freediving always appealed to me! Best of luck!

    Lo,
Was in England last month and got to skate some great spots! Heres one i couldn't skate. The Oxford Wheels Project. It was raining before I got there which is always sh1t. Anyway the guys in the local skateshop SS20 were very helpful! The ramp in image 1723 was more for bmx i thought as the surface was too rough for boards, but they had another half-pipe which was a lot smoother. I dont know if this is public or private, It may be a partnership, dunno!

Those English lads (& Div da Scot) really showed us Paddy's how to skate a park. Rippers.

You'll get more on the Van City section of Boggin:

ooaaaaah! How I'd love to skate a mini like that! So far from my experiences in cork and galway all I've gotten to skate in way of transition was large quarters and crappy spines. :(
