Certainly bad for the consumer in the long run. Wonder what this will mean for Betfair's Exchange. They've already been neglecting it for some time - favouring their sports book instead.

good news for people who use powers though, maybe they can actually get decent odds on bets they put on.

or more likely they'll wind down betfair exchange and it'll become just another online bookies.

The trinity college graduate spent 12 years working at PP (majority of his working life to that point, a PP lifer?). Corcoran was appointed to the head of non-retail development in 2001 and was rewarded with promotion to his first corporate position three years later. He would then spend a further eight years climbing the corporate ladder with PP which culminated with him being rewarded the position of CEO.

"We have known each other a long time. I used to wear a green jacket. We have been speaking intensely over the summer and warmly for a time before that.”(Breon Corcoran in the FT)

Was the green jacket ever removed?

3 Years is just about the minimum timescale that this stroke could have being pulled off without alarm bells clattering. They must have creamed themselves when the news of the LADS/CORAL merger was announced and hence the plan was expedited.

Th perfect timing as consolidation is rife in the bookmaking industry to counter act taxation changes and limits to the FOBTS in UK.

The irony for me is that their sportsbook has been working out better for me than the exchange in the last few months :pac:

Yeah in fairness to them they usually are top price or thereabouts on markets on their SB, they are fairly trigger happy when it comes to restricting accounts though sadly.

If you can get a bet on with BF Sportsbook,it's time to stop punting or quickly change what you're doing.
