PP/Betfair merger

Certainly bad for the consumer in the long run. Wonder what this will mean for Betfair's Exchange. They've already been neglecting it for some time - favouring their sports book instead.

The trinity college graduate spent 12 years working at PP (majority of his working life to that point, a PP lifer?). Corcoran was appointed to the head of non-retail development in 2001 and was rewarded with promotion to his first corporate position three years later. He would then spend a further eight years climbing the corporate ladder with PP which culminated with him being rewarded the position of CEO.

3 Years is just about the minimum timescale that this stroke could have being pulled off without alarm bells clattering. They must have creamed themselves when the news of the LADS/CORAL merger was announced and hence the plan was expedited.

Th perfect timing as consolidation is rife in the bookmaking industry to counter act taxation changes and limits to the FOBTS in UK.

Yeah in fairness to them they usually are top price or thereabouts on markets on their SB, they are fairly trigger happy when it comes to restricting accounts though sadly.
