POE expiration

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my POE expires can I apply again after? or do you only get one chance. I got my POE but have since returned to studying if I have to I'd be willing to fly over and activate the visa.

    Afaik you are only entitled to 1 POE per person. They have a 1 year life span so maybe you could take advantage of that?

    If you are talking about IEC, once you get your Letter of Invitation it has to be used. You cannot get another one or get it re-issued. It is valid for one year though.

    Ah ok I don't know why but I thought it was valid for 2 years.

    The permit is valid for 2 years once issued at the border.
