10.6C now after a high of 12.7C here near Tralee.

Breezy through the day getting lighter towards evening. Had very windy conditions overnight / early morning especially around 06.00 - 06.30 with the wind gusting over 70 kph from the S

No rain but mainly overcast for a lot of the day until later in the afternoon with some nice sunshine getting through in places.

Depressingly gloomy again today with little change in temps which stayed around 10c. Also a stiff breeze adding to the chill factor.

Quite a variation in temperatures on my way from North Kildare to Dublin this morning, a while before sunrise. Weather station was saying 5.8c when leaving the house and car agreed @ 6c.

Dropped to 4c by Maynooth and to 1c at Leixlip, with a heavy frost. Green again by lucan and back to 4c and 5c at arrival in Dublin west city.

Unlikely to be related but earlier I was out in the garden near Palmerstown and enjoying the warmth of the sun. It was calm. This was about 11.30. Then a really strong gust of wind lasting about 30 seconds got up. It scattered buckets, summer seats and my neighbour who was in his garage, came running out as he could hear the sudden noise. The hedging and trees were getting a right battering. Then it went calm. Very odd.

Looks like ye Dubs are spoilt yesterday and today with the joys of Spring!
It's still quite wintery here in KK, overcast and cool in SE winds.
We got about an hour of hazy sunshine this morning but before I could get excited it clouded over and got cold.
Temperature is 12 degrees but it feels cooler.

Some breaks in the cloud that's been over Cork City all day but it's turned very blustery. Some unexpectedly (at least by me) strong gusts.

It's cloudy and breezy here now and 12.8C but this morning it was mostly sunny and I've just noticed that the high temperature recorded today was 16.4C at 13:30.

Mild day getting up to 14.1C here near Tralee, 10.9C atm. Early bright conditions gave way to low overcast skies and brightened up again late afternoon and back to cloud now. Windy and very windy near the mountains , gusting over 60 km/h here but on the Dingle Road there was very strong gusts rocking the car .

No rain measured but a few drops now in the wind.

It's howling down here in West Cork and is now belting down. Not a low pressure system so not named but it is the worst winds we have had for a long while and far worse than recent named storms. Not much use finding out now.

Gale gusts at best (and unlikely in inland Tipp) but mean speeds are nowhere near gale force anywhere in Ireland.... Officially

Some long clear phases in between showers today in Galway. Feeling cooler than of late, but plenty of sunshine in between some heavy downpours. It’s raining right now. This is a picture of Rinville, Oranmore with the moon overhead at around 5:30pm. Galway Bay golf club is to the left.
