Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
My hubby and I have finished building our house 3 years now and our Engineer, who is the assigned certified, said he's happy with everything, but he still hasn't finished it all off for us!!
When we phone him, he tells us it will be done by the weekend. Then nothing!
we've already paid him a fortune for works he's done so far.
What are the implications if he doesn't sign off on the finished build?
    Thanks

The house should have had its certification done on the BCMS system and closed out on the system. If not he has failed in his duty of care. Id get on to your local council to see if it has been closed out and if not formally write to him requesting close out. You may have to complain to Engineers Ireland regarding his conduct to get some traction.
