Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apparently dying from cancer makes you turn into a criminal, holding a load of people hostage and punching your daughter multiple times in the face on her wedding. Both trigger and Cathals dad used being riddled with cancer as their excuse. F*ckin joke this soap.

I wonder if it's like that in real life, feeling sorry for himself and thinking he'll be forgiven .. Caddy was right, **** him!.... Hope she doesn't do a u-turn, let him rot!

I think there must be something in the water in Carrigstown.

So Rose goes off to her pal having left her bag behind in Vino's, with her purse, bus pass and bitnbobs inside presumably.

Swans back home the next morning never having missed it and no one else mentions it either!

I took it as she just said she went to visit her friend, not that she actually did it.

And let's not forget Dermot turning into a master criminal when he thought he was terminally ill. This seems to be a recurring theme on FC.

Ha, I was thinking that myself! Both men announced their sickness in the same place to the same people also and they may even have been wearing the same clothing! All Trigger needed was aun glasses and it was the exact same person!

As I said they just recycle old scripts! I wonder does Trigger have another son that is also bad news like Cathal!

Sounds like a great plot. Should get a few months mileage out of that one.

I haven't warched much in the last week or two.

Here's a question. Is the homeless guy working for Bob the same bloke that introduces the guests on the Tommy Tiernan show?

Seems half the area get involved when 2 people break up in Carraigstown.

    Damien reeks of desperation though.

I think Pete is homelesss as well. He just wanders up and down Carrigatown road causing barneys with people.

The homeless guy story line is so f'in pointless. As is the 'everyone turning on' Pete storyline.

I never thought I'd want to see Katy in her box again.

Misery guts Pete is a pain in the ass. He says sorry but he's not, gives to the homeless but not cash, eventually gives cash and specifies how to spend it. Dolly will ditch him soon.

Did anyone notice last Thursday's episode blooper? - It looks like Damien goes to walk out of the shop door but then remembers his script that requires him to walk around inside the shop. I thought Tommy Dillon was going to laugh because he puts his hand up to his mouth and am sure he give damien (or rather the actor) a nod as to where he is meant to be going LOL

I was thinking it might head that way but now that they've split up, I'm not sure how.....not unless he gives Caoimhe a one off hiding or something.

    WTF.

Does Pete, literally, just walk around engaging in random arguments.

And, as predicted, like the racist accusation, he will know be labelled as the local homophobic

Eh, surely Trigger would have an order against him preventing him from being in any sort of proximity to the woman he assaulted

    Oh, christ!

    I see it now!

We are going to have a scenario where Caddle and Greasy look after her sexually abusing father who assaults her in their home now!!

Ah listen lads - will ye lay off Pete. It's tiring at this stage.

What legal right does KT have to stay in that f*cking apartment, never mind the fact that it is the home of her on the loose psychopath kidnapper who has keys

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,050 ✭✭✭✭The Talking Bread

This Pete nonsense is like a braindead 5 year old's version of Fr. Ted meets Fawlty Towers with all the "getting out of hand" series' of events

Absolutely ridiculous and wouldn't happen in a million years. The place is a crime scene and yet not only does the victim have her own key, she is also LIVING there. And not a scrap of the Irish media camping out her door which would absolutely be the case if this really happened. Lazy beyond belief!
