Beidh mé ag dul go dtí an BAC amarach chun bád a ceannach..

An bhfuil "Bád Sheáin" ceart? (John's boat) ?? The Séan takes an i because it's possesive right?

An ceart ar fad agat, dlofnep. :) 'Seán' is in the tuiseal ginideach because of possession. But of course it also takes the 'h' because, as a person's name, it's a proper noun (ainmfhocal dílis).

Dála an scéil, ní chuirtear an t-alt (an) roimh BÁC/Baile Átha Cliath riamh; sa chaoi chéanna nach scríobhfá 'An Seán'.

    Baile Átha Cliath - ceart
An Baile Átha Cliath - mícheart
muintir Bhaile Átha Cliath - ceart
An mhuintir Bhaile Átha Cliath - mícheart
