Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Plenty of big races on tomorrow. One popped up in the tracker is via serpendity ran in some top class handicaps last season winning off 95, handicapper has dropped it a few lbs since so now on 96 which should be workable. Haley rode it to its last win on the turf and the horse seems fit and well, bagging an aw race recently and being raised 9lbs in that code, I know you cannot transfer it literally but as a 5yr old, reckon he’s still open to improvement and this looks an ideal opportunity for him. Trip, draw and ground all ok. I’ve had a fair go at him ew 9/1 Newmarket 350 GL

Fancy FLEETING big time in the Irish Oaks. Backed it everytime it's ran this season and she's had an excuse most of the time.

She was given a poor ride at Ascot don't care what anybody says, maybe she wouldn't have passed Star Catcher but she would've been even closer with a half decent ride.

A good gallop set by Peach Tree tomorrow and I think Fleeting will win the stamina test and reverse than form with Star Catcher.

    7/1 will do me fine

The Tin Man seems a 4/5 shot at 2/1

Tin Man, Decor Irlandais, Wells de Lune for me. (Last two Cartmel)

Might put in Beeno & Matchmaking as well for a Canadian,

8:30 - Lydiate Lady a bit of a 5f specialist who will definitely appreciate a bit of cut in the ground is well entitled to be a better price than 6/1 that she stands at.

Oaks - How is Fleeting 7/1 for this? A bonkers price in my eyes, should be half that price.

At the other end of the spectrum of value, I really struggle to see how Romanized can be as low as 7/4 for the 4:35. Have to prefer Hey Gaman at 3/1, it has the proven form here, unlike the one hit wonder Romanized.

Fox Chairman in the first at Newbury. I'm not always one for shorties but this lad is evens and should be 1/2.

Thretias is 7 times the price of the favorite yet beat it last season she will do for me in the oaks 20/1

Pink Dogwood has kept on letting her supporters down so I'll oppose her tomorrow, she's shortened in price as if she had improved a ton since the last day but I can see her disappointing yet again.

I've gone for Star Catcher because she was supplemented and that says to me that she has improved since Ascot

Jukebox Jive has been improving this year, has form around here on soft . His mark should put him close enough here at this trip .

1 point ew 50/1 5 places hills, sky, coral

    3:00

Not a long shot but The Tin Man is a long way clear of these, goes on soft and really should be shorter than 2/1 .

    2 points win 2/1 gen

    3:40

Clay Regazzoni ran better at Royal Ascot than his placing indicates , having no cover all the way and travelled well. This trip and race should suit him . This is a much weaker race

    1 pt ew 40/1 5 places 365

Matchmaking a non-runner so went with Angel of Harlem at M-Rasen 3.55 instead.

I thought Romanized has a great chance today.
    On Trethias in the Oaks.

I find it odd that the 4.00 at the curragh is sponsored by a racecourse in the United Arab Emirates

Ardhoomey cant be too far away here, in what looks a poor enough renewal and of a good mark compared to last year .

The LADS have loaded Fleeting for the Irish oaks according to the market

    Market 2:10

Going to have a small win bet on John Constable here . He never got into it last time , but came back to life the time before . 16/1 is enough to be sorry not to be on if he gets back to form.

    1 point win 16/1 gen

He handles it but I would say he is best on Firm ground. He won his Guineas on firm. Also I think he needs a stiff mile.

Jim Bolger has only sent out 10 horses in the last week and 4 have won, 3 placed. Flight Risk is 10/1.

I am backing Trethias ew and Search for a Song looks massively overpriced 33/1 in places. Small ew at that price for sure.

Can someone tell me what all the kings men was trying to achieve in that race.
I think frankie got it wrong with hey gaman and chased a fast pace too early and had very little left at the business end.

Dont think so myself, very rare to get a race run that fast and obviously suited the hold up horses, hey gaman had shot his bolt 2 furlongs out and the winner only had a length to spare.
Hopefully they meet again in similar race with no idiotic pacemaker tactics.

I think the fact is that Romanised was the best horse in the race. He is easy to underestimate. that was only his 3rd time landing the money. but the fact is that he is a group 1 winner and while he might look the dog in the group 1's he is certainly no pig either. He had the group 1 form and it showed.

Ryan Moore is riding the same race over and over again with the same result each time. What has happened to him?

Omg come on. Are you seriously asking this now? We've had this discussed at length at least 8 times this year. It's always a Saturday punter that starts it up again too by bringing up Notnowcato. Same fellas mystified by Ruby Walsh not being able to get a winner at Cheltenham after him being garbage for at least a full year before that.

I think romanised has more stamina which is what won the day, but I do think if you took that front runner out of that race, romanised wouldn't of won.
Fact is he was in the race and there are many different ways a race can be run, today being a fast paced race certainly hurt hey gamans chance.

I'm glad he did :) Star Catcher is probably just the better filly anyway.

Fleeting needs holding up and is always getting there when the race is practically over. She made a good lunge at Star Catcher 50yds out but hadn't enough about her to close any further after that.

They could do worse than sending Fleeting to Doncaster for the St Leger where she'd have loads of time to get there. A wide course like York for the Yorkshire Oaks would allow her to challenge without getting blocked in.

Pink Dogwood was disappointing again, she seemed to lack stamina in both Oaks and speed in the Pretty Polly. These Camelots seem to be not so good when they run in the very best races and they don't seem to progress too well after they burst into the limelight. Hopefully Sir Dragonet will come out again and make a fool of me.
