Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

See pics in this link: https://imgur.com/a/O6rlNzn

One shows the mains ESB box with the meter. Below it there are 2 smaller boxes. Both the smaller boxes have a rolled up black cable as shown in the other picture.

What are the 2 smaller boxes for?

In the other box, I cannot see the end. Goes off inside the house.

Would this have anything to do with a charge point for an electric car?

They are connection boxes for digital tv (Not Virgin Media or Sky) and the other box will be normally be a phone line.
AFAIK they are there so driveways are not dug up with different services being brought in.

My sister has one of those boxes for VM co-ax TV/broadband in Lucan, early '90s house. No good for SkyQ if there is only a single cable.
