Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi. I've just come back from holiday and went to put a wash on and found the machine full of water. I know it wasn't like that before I went as i would of noticed it when taking out the last wash. I'll check the hoses for blockages etc but im bamboozled by how it's filled itself. anyone ever come across this before

Have you checked the filter - may be blocked

Probably not the filter at fault here - OP's machine filled itself outside of a wash cycle when standing idle.

Sounds like the inlet cutoff isn't working, the water pressure from the feed has shoved water into the machine when it was supposed to be switched off with no possibility of water ingress.

For a start set it to drain and let it empty. It will be good to go for the next wash but when you have finished washing turn off the tap at the end of the filling hose. What has happened is that grit has got into the solenoid valve keeping it partially open. the valve cant be repaired only replaced. Easily a diy job just turn off the water and disconnect from the mains. You are lucky you didn't return to a flooded house
