Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd have to get my Nigel on and go for the Williams FW14B with all the electric gubbins that subsequently got banned! Red 5 is alive!

Ford GT40...I've no idea why that was the first to come to my mind. Perhaps a childhood memory of something a little special, and very noisy.

Out of all of Porsche's great race cars you pick a recent 911

Yup, I'm a fanboy of the modern 911 and not ashamed :D. Also love that livery, also flying lizard were around when I was first getting into sports car racing, so it has big sentimental value to me. Sad that the GTE category in IMSA in now on it's last legs.

Superbikes back with foggy or the 500cc bikes must have been crazy.
James Deane s15 in Riga drift track.
Or the Bathurst race with the chickadee commodore I think early 80s.

Pat Dorans rs200 around Mondello in rallycross with 900ish bhp, or a modern day euro rally cross car.

I'd one lap in the passenger seat of this bad boy and it terrified and exhilarated me in equal measure.

But if I'd to pick one that I could drive on my own and not die, it'd be another deathtrap, The Porsche 917

Not the Jordan that most people would go for, but you can get 10 laps in the EJ12 if you have a spare ₤1,000 lying around (plus ₤2,500 security deposit):

Ideally a Jordan 199, or Mazda 787B, but I'd settle for one of these :D

Largely, yes. the back straight was shorter than in the F1 days. Was used by the SuperCar series until last year, when the local tourism commission pulled funding.

Would have to be a Vauxhall Cavalier from the mid nineties, BTCC, pre aero kit and before the Vectra. Cleland era machine. The Vectra was a load of pants if memory serves me.

Or I'd settle for the Primera from 97/98, Leslie and Reid.

BTCC went downhill after the super saloons went.

Probably the 1970 Matra F1 car at the old 8 mile SPA circuit. It was a real screamer. Must have been unreal throwing in into Burnenville corner and the masta kink at 180mph...
