I don't get that. I already had a ticket and it tells me they're not available.

MCD posted on Facebook that's it's sold out. Didn't expect it to sell out so quickly myself. Figured an indoor show would sell out in minutes but wasn't expecting that for Malahide. Still, wasn't going to take any chances!

For those that missed out, they may well put some more on sale closer to the date once they've figured out logistics of stage etc.

    They undoubtedly will.
Anyone who didn't get sorted, don't panic - you'll get tickets, at face value, either from Ticketmaster, or from Toutless / Adverts, closer to the date, if you want them badly enough..

I rang Easons and they told me they don't sell them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,423 ✭✭✭✭Outlaw Pete

Any chance they'll add a second night?

    Feckin hope so.

some Easons outlets have Ticketmaster terminals in them, although I found my local one only sold tickets from 9-5, even when the shop itself was open later.

Arklow, Balbriggan and Maynooth are the ones in Leinster according to this:
    https://www.ticketmaster.ie/etc/?tm_link=tm_ql_3

some newsagents/supermarkets/sports shops sell them too.

So... any thoughts on support acts?

I doubt we'll get it as good as the anniversary concert in Hyde Park, but one or two from that Interpol/Slowdive/Editors pool would be lovely.

MCD are promoting and its supposedly sold out so in MCD's eyes there is no need for support.
The money is in the bank.

Depends how early you try online. I secured 4 on my phone from the comfort of my own bed

  • Registered Users Posts: 951 ✭✭✭Neames

    Delighted...got two tickets.

Very surprised that it sold out so quickly especially with the capacity of Malahide Castle and Metallica on the same day.

Really looking forward to this gig!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,651 ✭✭✭✭Eod100

    What's the capacity of Malahide?
