Last December, Man Utd shares reached $19.

3 months later they had plummeted to $13.25.

By September, they'd recovered to $17.

Today Man Utd has reported Revenues of more than £500M and operating profit of nearly £70M. Divvie is about 1%. But where to next....is it a case of no way Jose or stay on the Zlat machine?

Quick work daheff and L1m1tless. Equity markets are down today but I suspect Man Utd shares will bounce at the open shortly. If the Red Devils can put away Watford & Leicester this month it'll help the price. But October with Stoke, Liverpool, Chelsea and Burnley to play will be critical to their prospects.

Sports team shares seem bizarre. Anyone got any fundamental equity analysis from agencies/banks on United or other that they can share?

The trailing Price/Earnings ratio is about 60 times which is obviously on the high side. It means that at the current earnings rate it would take you roughly 60 years to get a return.
So Man Utd as an investing proposition is pretty speculative. After the thumping by Watford at the weekend, you'd expect share price weakness this week.
For share portfolio builders, it's not very attractive. For traders (i.e. people looking to turn a buck in days, weeks or months) it's one worth watching.
