Eir first phone plan bill

    Hi
    I received my first bill from Eir today. I was charged an extra €21.49 for "Standalone eir Mobile". Could someone explain this to me? Is it a one-time charge for the first bill? What does that mean?

    It’s probably the pro-rata charge. So you are charged from the day you get your phone (regardless if you’ve used it) to your billing date, and then you are charged for your month in advance.
