    Hi

As an author on 1916, I'm seeking help in researching my next effort.

I'm lucky to have access to a diary of Easter Week 1916 written by an active Volunteer under fire and I'm currently researching the author, with a view to featuring his diary in a book.

He was Seosamh de Brun, a member of B Company, 2nd Battalion, Dublin Brigade, who served in Jacob's factory, and I would very much like to make contact with anyone who may have been related to, or known, Mr de Brun.

Born about 1884, and a carpenter by trade, he also used the name Joseph Brown and once gave his address as 70 Irishtown Road, Sandymount, Dublin.

Thanks for any and all help/direction/suggestions!

    Mick O'Farrell
