    More famous than Sting? :D

You clearly mean The Stig and no one knows where they're from, because their identity is more of a secret than Banksy.

Can someone please call The Police on Declan for making such a ridiculous statement. ;)

So guessing from Nitwit's guess that that's the Newcastle soccerball kit, and we all of course know the most famous music act from Newcastle...

Is the prize the entire Discography of Ant & Dec?

13 year old me would have thought this was the best prize ever!

When I was at college I ran a weekly music quiz in the students union. I'd always buy the worst CD I could find for a quid in cash converters, use one song from it in the intros round, then give it away as the booby prize for the bottom team. The week I picked Psyche up, I remember people really genuinely wanting it :D

That's not as bad as when I picked up Smurfs Go Pop and kept it for myself though :o

Deciding what CD is the booby prize is a very subjective exercise as not everyone has the same tastes in music. Someone could end up with their guilty pleasure!

I won a Max Bygraves LP at a music quiz in Ranelagh a few years ago - I wasn't even taking part in the quiz! I wanted to buy a record player to listen it it :o

Now, that's an acquired taste for anyone under the age of 70..... maybe even 75! :D

Was this song on it? Could be an education for some of our younger listeners! :D

My parents are over 75 and I think Max would even be an acquired taste for them!

You could try PMs. What about those who took part in Part 1 but not Part 2 and have not signed up yet for Part 3? You could also post a reminder link to this thread on the Upcoming Forums thread.

EDIT: At least two of those listed are on the Last Person Quiz (as are you!) ....just a thought.

ACDC? The previous clue was someone wearing the Newcastle strip. Singer Brian Johnson is from Newcastle.

First pic was Alan Shearer. Second is Australia, where they have a lot of sheep. Sheep that take an annual trip to the shearer. My guess is that it's a voucher for a haircut in the style of a pop star of your choosing:

Merkel, sounds a bit like merkin. Forget the head folks, it's still a trip to the shearers, but it's for a downstairs grooming session.

As everyone knows, the overall winner of this competition has the option of accepting a cheap and massively disappointing music prize.

I'm going to post clues as to what that music prize might be and you can all have a stab at guessing or you can ignore me completely as it's just a novel way of shamelessly bumping the thread.

    First clue:
