Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Had a mi band 2 which I loved and lost it last week. Tempted to buy it for the full price now but on the previous link it's coming up as the global one is $93.99 now. The normal one is coming in at ~ €60.

Anyone try there's out and would it be worth the full price?

I've used it for a few months. It is a glorified fitness tracker rather than a smartwatch but it does that job well. I rarely take it off as it last for ages.

As mentioned get Amazfit tools to do custom setups like filtering some notifications (Spotify notifications like downloading etc) and you can setup things like pause or next track with button presses. Takes a while to setup the way you like so if you don't want to fiddle don't bother with it. The default software does notifications from some apps but is limited and has/had some bugs. Whatever you've tools doing disable in the mi fit app as it'll send both otherwise.

I replaced the default band with this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B073GRW511/ as the original would trap moisture. There are cheaper variations of this on Amazon but heard of people having the magnet fail on them. This one has been ok for me (need to tighten it occasionally).

I'd love some more interaction with apps but the battery life is a killer feature (I'm at 49% after 9 days with constant wear, 1 min heart monitor, custom face, and various notifications aimed at it). Was very handy at festivals as I never missed messages from people and could have reminders pop up for bands etc.

Oh yeah the always on display is a must have for a watch as far as I'm concerned.

What's the difference between the original link and the "normal" one? Other than the price obviously! I picked an English version one up for 50 quid from another seller

Mine landed in Ireland last Wednesday but no sign of it getting delivered to me yet, a tad frustrating, not sure why it’s taking so long.

same, been sitting in Thurles since last wednesday also. have followed up with an post but no update thus far. Frustrating!

Mine is showing as 'delivered' as of yesterday but I haven't received anything - does it just mean it has reached the destination country Ireland(which I can see from the tracking it has) or should I have actually received it? first time using aliexpress so I'm not sure.

Mine shows delivered in Cahir, Tipperary. I live in Leitrim.

Wonder what the hell is the hold up, nearly a week in Ireland and no sign is terrible service.

Does anyone have a lead on a current deal for this?

Full week since landing in Ireland and still nothing, never experienced this before with any package getting delivered, it’s bloody ridiculous

Can anyone tell me if the Amazfit supports media controls?

Can I change tracks on Spotify from it?

And does it play well with IOS?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,478 ✭✭✭Sono

Still no sign and no one to contact about it as it’s somewhere in Ireland and An Post don’t recognise the tracking number. The joys of AliExpress shopping.

Were you able to speak with anyone in An Post? I can't get them to reply to any of my mails. The tracking number I have is valid as it returns a result on the An Post site, just says it was delivered to Thurles DSU

They won't return your emails as their contact isn't with you. You need to contact the seller, bigger chance you've been given a wrong tracking number.

I'm in same position ... item marked as delivered but to a different address. Got speaking to very helpful guy in An Post and he said that Ali Express are always assigning the wrong tracking number to items. He said to get back on to them for the correct tracking number.

Through AliExpress, I PM'd the seller on Wed and she got back to me yesterday to say it was the wrong tracking number. She gave me a new code and a new link to track it and extended the purchase protection date. The new tracking number says that it is now in Ireland at central hub.

I suggest you contact the seller via PM

No sure my tracking number isn’t showing up on their site but other sites say it arrived in the country of destination on the 19th!

Starting to regret buying from aliexpress now, items that cost me less than €5 ordered the same day have arrived before this watch.

Can’t understand what the issue is at all.

Its not Ali Express or the sellers fault stuff is getting delayed. The fault lies with An Post. Have a look in this thread. There is delays with a lot of stuff coming through Chinese/Asian sites

Thanks for that, it is extremely frustrating an item in the country almost 2 weeks and just being held in a sorting office somewhere.

This is a good deal for it's bigger brother - The Amazfit Pace. Nice watch with good reviews. Free shipping to the UK from Spain so no customs. Need to use AP or Parcel motel.

Bought the Amazfit Bip on amazon yesterday for £58.49. Here. There was a small link to the right of the item to take 10% off the 64.99 price.

Obviously, more expensive than Ali and so on, but delivered and fulfilled by amazon, so less messing around.

They don't get pennies to deliver the post from asia. Why would they put their resources into sorting something they aren't receiving a fair amount for. That's where the problem lies.

Pay extra to get it shipped properly. An extra euro and you'll have it weeks earlier.

Have ordered a lot of stuff from China and this is the first time it’s been an issue, lesson learned anyway

Its been a n issue for about 2 years now. They hold them in pallet sized bundles until they get a chance to sort through the crap.

Regular occurance for me. I have two items from China routed via Turkey which is a new one. Items both arrived in Ireland between 3 & 4 weeks ago. Even with registered post from China, An Post are making zero, at best, sorting & delivering it so there's no urgency

Still waiting on mine, status stuck at:

    Shipment arrived at destination country

    since 25th September :(

I wonder if it is to do with Irish Customs? Maybe they are being told to hold items for batch checking.

Ali emailed me to say that mine arrived in the UK. At that time the tracking said it was in Belgium.

Same here. Ordered on 30th August, in Ireland since 25th September. I asked the seller for 15 days extra buyer protection but they only gave 10.

Is that according to Ali tracking, the carrier or Anpost?

In my case it's based on the tracking number and tracking website provided by the seller (1tracking.com). The Ali tracking number was wrong. I have protection extended now until 30 October.

ordered this watch last week, using the Spanish warehouse delivery to my Parcel Motel address.

Emailed them yesterday to check on the status as it was still pending shipment, only to be told that my zip code was incorrect. logged into PM and copied the exact address out and sent it back to the seller. woke up this morning to this...
"Xiaomi Store Xiaomi 18/10/08 23:34 Sorry, we can not send to your address, pls cancel this order, and choose: other reason"

I've since sent on my AddressPal address to see if they will ship to this one but they haven't said why the PM "zip code" is no good. Surely that's up to the Postal Service to decide if the address is invalid?
Watch has gone up in price now so reluctant to cancel my order especially if they are going to have the same issue with my address...or would they *shifty eyes*

Less than 24 hours usage but so far so good, really impressed with all the features on it for such a great price. Thanks again OP

18/10/09 04:11 pls cancel this order

    Xiaomi Store Xiaomi
18/10/09 04:10 we can not send to your address

provided both Parcel Motel and Address Pal.
Has anyone ever experienced anything else like this?

An Post tracking doesn't recognise the code.

they told me they are refunding. My tracking says returned to sender.
Don't even know if I want the blasted thing now, even if it did arrive

Also still waiting. Ordered two in August. I've opened a dispute.

Just saw that my tracking code has gone from "Not recognised" to "Delivered" on An Post Track and Trace. Wife says there is a parcel at home.
Let's hope this is actually my one and not the generic code for Tipperary they gave me the first time.

Mine is saying delivery attempted today. Will collect tonight from the depot! I was beginning to lose hope..

I chose the Pace because the price difference wasn't that much as it was on offer. I am very pleased that I did.
