Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

why are axilliary crutches so out of favour?

    Just out of hospital with broken foot. Non-load bearing for good few weeks so I have to come to grips with the standard forearm crutch.
    bloody hard work.
    I'm sure I could swing along like long john silver with a pair of the old school under the armpit yokes.
    Any nurse or physio I got the chance to query said they haven't been an option since as long as they can remember.
    Wikipedia suggests this bias for forearm is Europe wide https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crutch#Forearm
    Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is the case? And it there any way to get under-arm crutches outside of theatrical suppliers?
