    Hi All,

If on a death cert it says there was an inquest held. Would that info be available and where would I find it. It would be in 1923.
    Thanks.

Best bet is a newspaper report.

PS: don't be afraid of a new thread. This isn't off-topic chat!

Are all inquests reported in the press? :/ Could I get info anywhere on an inquest in Dublin in 2002?

I was able to find the file on an inquest from the late 1960's at the National Archives.

Not all inquests are reported - depends on the circumstances.

For example, someone ill who dies of something else (like a fall) would need an inquest.
