Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Green Box In Back Garden

I have this small little green box in the back garden that says "Danger earth rod inspection box". It is situated just out the back door in the ground. I have noticed when I turn on the kitchen tap that water starts overflowing out of the box in the ground. The main drain is a couple of meters away. Does anybody know what this box/drain is for and should water be leaking up and out of it?

As the sign says 'earth rod inspection box' ....it's the earthing rod for your home.
Not here shouldn't be water pouring out of it, should like you have a blocked drain or something going on.

Perhaps the earth electrode is driven down through the waste pipe. You shouldn’t have water coming from it.
