    For me at the moment it's The Detectorists on BBC Four written by the brilliant Mackenzie Crook of The Office fame.

    It's one of those gentle, easy-going, bitter-sweet comedies that embraces you like your favourite comfy armchair and leaves you smiling to yourself rather than making you chortle out loud. One of those programs that when it finishes you have to look at the clock to convince yourself it's really over.
