Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, does anyone know where I might get ash or hardwood poles suitable for spear shafts? Been googling but getting nowhere.

Would curtain poles do the job?

Not sure, considered them but if they are just pine or similar and they break you have a genuinely lethal weapon!

I'm fairly sure that some of them are hardwood. Another option might be tool handles e.g. shovel handles etc. they're usually ash.
What diameter & length are you looking for?
