Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have to put new concrete floors in a terraced artisan house 2 rooms and a hall, c 35 sq meters.
It will consist of 100mm insulation and 100 mm slab.
How should services, electricity, gas and central heating be dealt with?

Run gas pipes & heating pipework above the insulation. You can notch runs in the top of the insulation.
You must have 25mm minimum cover for gas pipework.
All pipework to be pressure tested before pouring the slab, obviously.
Electrical conduit will run at high level and drop down.

Work all your runs out based on your design. Don't forget to run gas to your hob if you want gas for cooking.

Seriously consider underfloor heating pipework in the screed - it's now or never!

    Thanks.
Some of the electric conduit will have to be in the slab, should it be above or below the insulation? or notched into it?
How deep would the screed be to incorporate ufh?
