A look back on the 2003 Celtic League Final between Munster and Neath at the Millennium Stadium. Munster travel to Cardiff aiming to lay their cup final ghosts to rest having lost the previous seasons Heineken Cup Final at the same venue to Leicester and the Celtic League Final to provincial rivals Leinster. A good run of form sees them in confident mood ahead of this, their fourth final in three years.

Anybody watching? Foley was a monster in this game!

i watched it - he was immense. i remember being there - those were the days!

Very impressive win by Munster. As posted above they were determined not to lose another final especially after their disappointment of season before against a 14 man Leinster side for most of the game. Remember it was Neath not Ospreys so obviuosly not as strong. After Welsh regions were established the next 2 Celtic League titles went the way of west Wales (Llanelli in 2004/Ospreys in 2005).

This game is a weird memory for me. I remember the trip and being in the stadium but nearly nothing about the game.

same here - didnt realise rob henderson had scored a try until a few years later and i saw the match on TV

same memory loss the lions played argentina again in 05
