Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Royal Canal Pike and Perch

Have just moved to Mullingar and while running by the canal I've seen some pike sunning themselves. I haven't been freshwater fishing in a really long time but what are the best ways to tackle the canal for pike and I presume there would be perch around? I have a 7-30g bass rod which I was considering twitching soft plastics with but I'm guessing that won't stand up to any of the bigger pike in there and will be overgunned for perch. Are there any decent perch to spin for or the like?
