It says "customs duty and VAT paid for the EU by DHL"

Does this mean there's no way you might escape customs?

I've bought from global store a few times in the past.
It means once you select delivery to be made by DHL instead of snail mail there won't be any customs charges .

Thanks OP, great looking phone and price. I'm in the market for one for my wife and had joined this thread on the matter:
    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2058091808
Have never bought anything from aliexpress previously (plenty from other Asian stores) and delivery time would be an issue in my case with it showing as 40-48 days.

There's a slightly better camera on the Pro version also although you wouldn't be able to distinguish them apart. However was going to go with the 6/64 Pro version which on eglobalcentral.com/en_GB can be got for about €203, about €20 extra over the 4/64 9s version. I'm lead to believe delivery time from eglobalcentral is about 2 weeks which is workable.
