Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Love this tournament, open draw is great

Open draw great, you'd have to think Price makes the final if he avoids MvG? Tasty odds

Any schedule to show when Round 4 starts?
Last year the Top players started on the Friday evening in Round 3, not sure how it works under this expanded format.

I can't see him getting a Visa to travel any time soon. He'll lose his tour card this year.

It's a complete waste but it was up to Cadby if he wanted to keep the card and he decided to keep it. I reckon Paul Nicholson is fuming as he would have retained his card if Cadby had given his up.

the turn of events that ment he lost is card must have been 1000 - 1
    he must be sick

kept drawing mvg in tv events also

Yes Friday night we likely get to see on TV 4 long format games involving MVG, Wright, Anderson and 1 other, mainly 10-2 to 10-5 wins and we'll be left wondering what's so good about this tournament.

I would prefer shorter matches further into the tournament instead of 80% of the entire field being eliminated on Friday with only 32 players remaining entering Saturday.

it was better event when it was on sky and later in the year

The draw has been made for Rounds 1 - 3, as has the schedule of play:

and when it started on a Thursday night in May after the Premier League had finished

I agree, it seems as if they just want to rush through the early rounds now to get them out of the way. It's a great tournament structure with the open draw etc. but we don't get the opportunity to see the lesser players on the outside boards anymore because ITV 4 pretty much solely focus on the main board.

Board 2 will be available for PDC TV HD subscribers, I've no idea why all boards can't be available to view. You only get the full experience of this competition if you are in the venue.

didnt show up to board in time for match

Menzies is a nutcase, fond of a drink (etc.) which may have been at play in him not showing up. I watched his first game, he was up to all sorts of antics to put Newton off. He got a warning for encroaching.

Willie O'Connor through 6-5 against Mark Dudbridge. Willie was 5-2 up and nearly threw it away. He had to break Dudbridge's throw to win it. Willie missed 3 darts for the match, then Dudbridge missed a dart for the match, then Willie checked out in 2 darts to in win it.

Steve Lennon is playing James Richardson at the moment.

Glen Durrant was knocked out 6-2 by George Carlin. He's a very good player who could do some damage this year. Steve Lennon got through 6-0.

The Fourth Round draw, including the big guns, can be seen here: https://www.pdc.tv/news/2019/03/01/2019-ladbrokes-uk-open-day-one

He is (Gavin I think) but he has this real annoying slow trudge to the board , which looks real odd as he has a reasonably quick throwing style
    From Derry I think?

Price v Jamie Hughes, arguably the form player from Friday - should be a cracker

    Mad upsets today.

The betting is crazy now. Can’t remember the last time a tournament was so open with so many left.

Smith v Gurney is clearly the highest profile game of the round.

Tis. You'd think they'd show the game with most potential on tv instead of Wade v hopp Cross or king

It's one of the reasons this tournament has gone down a bit since the move to itv 4. They just show the big names and not the best matches. They got lucky with all the upsets last night.
