Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought it made for a fascinating insight.
So I typed it out and pressed start thread.

It looked better in my mind tbh.

Thats a pretty convincing argument and I see no alternative but to accept that yes, we are plants.

At present most biologists divide the living world into 5 kingdoms, namely:
    • bacteria
    • protists
    • fungi
    • plants
    • animal

we would class as animal on that under because:

At present most biologists divide the living world into 5 kingdoms, namely:
    • eat organic material (plants or other animals)
    • move to find food
    • take the food into their bodies and then digest it
    • and most reproduce by fertilizing eggs by sperm

but that would further be divided into Vertebrates and Invertebrates (if there is a backbone or not)

    in this division there is
    • Fish
    • Amphibia (frogs and toads)
    • Reptiles (snakes and crocodiles)
    • Birds
    • Mammals

So mammals is us, well one of the subclasses of mammals anyway as there is
    • Duck billed platypus and the spiny anteater
    • Marsupials (animals like the kangaroo with pouches)
    • True mammals (with a placenta)

so no, no we aren't plants
