    Just wondering if anyone could help with this. Doing a Masters project and need to evaluate William Hill. One of the ways is in regards to their advertising, anyone know if they advertise in any newspapers in Ireland and if so which ones?

    Nope.
    They sold/closed all their shops over here some years ago.
    Would be no need for them to advertise in Irish papers if they didn't have any shops here.

    They do however advertise in the middle page of the Racing Post every day but that's not exclusive to Ireland.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Probably should clarified I know that they closed their shops, was just wondering if they did advertise any of their website specials/promotiosn etc in any of the papers. I get all my news online and use adblocker which I thought would never come back to bite me in the ass :pac:

    Racing Post apart from a Festival (Galway/Goodwood/Cheltenham) where they might advertise in a couple of papers like the Star or Indo.
    AFAIK the tabloid papers have "arrangements" with bookies, Mirror, Sun and the Star with Boyles, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes (can't remember who is who!).

    They used to give €5 matched bets a few years ago with The Sun for Cheltenham, Aintree and Royal Ascot. It's an advertisement of sorts.

    Will Hill are massive online. Like 99% of online casinos and bookies they have an affiliate scheme. However Will Hills is one that has a terrible reputation for shafting the poeple who advertise their brands. They drop their commission rates, skim sign up stats, you name it.
    Good set of websites though and certainly aiming to be well and truly top dog online.
