Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anti-bird spikes?

If so, they’re called ‘anti-bird spikes’.

I think you might need to ask someone who has studied architectural history.

The correct name for it is probably in here somewhere, if you can plough through it.

If its the wooden piece at the apex of the facia board (red spike ?) It's called a Finial. Any good wood turner would make them up for you if you can't get them off the shelf.
