Keith Flint is the only one for me, not bad seeing as I've been going to gigs since around 98.

Stupidly I walked away from Gil Scott Heron at EP the last time he played, just wasn't in the mood at the time. He was dead a few months later.

Poor auld Keith, had a few private tears this morning when I was thinking about it. He meant the world to me as a young teen.

Didn't realise he had died until I saw your post - great memories of lots of great gigs with Auto Da Fe in the Rathfarnham Inn, the Buttery in Trinity and more.

Strummer, Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Phil Chevron, Malcolm Young

Danny Federici and of course Clarence from the E Street band - I still get a little bit emotional when Bruce signs about when 'Big Man joined the band' on 10th Avenue Freeze Out

Saw him twice, Edinburgh in 1991 and Brighton in 1992 or 1993. Had a beer with him after the first gig, lovely guy. Astonishing performer. One fine memory.

Ranking Roger just died last night RIP, caught the Beat who were a surprise quick announcement for Body&Soul 2017 when Songhoy Blues and another bunch of bands got stranded at an airport due to a bomb hoax en-route to the festival. So was delighted to be greeted by the Beat on the main stage as I missed them at the Picnic about 2 or 3 years ago, they were amazing.
