Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Slightly more random result on Sunday with the PL players all missing out for once.

Johnny Clayton beat Gabriel Clemens in the final.
Ian White and Tytus Kanik (:confused:) beaten semi-finalists.
Aaron Monk, Jermaine Wattimena, Mervyn King and Jose Justicia () quarter finalists.

I like these sort of results, better than the same players farming the events every week.

Cadby was beaten in the first round of PC10. Not the greatest weekend of darts for him. It might take him a but to get back into things.

Beaten by Durrant in last 16 today 6/5 both had averages of over 100. Hopefully Cadby keeps improving as he should be in the mix for the bigger events

Yes, he’s playing very well. Don’t think MvG was playing this weekend but nonetheless that’s great consistency from Wade.

Edit: is the prize money 10k for a win, nice 8 days earning for Wade :)

Easy night in the end for MvG. Practically playing exiibition darts in the final against Whitlock who was lucky to get passed Hopp in the semis

Usually I find these Euro tour events fairly entertaining, but this weekend was a bit of a yawn - the final in particular

MvG 30 years old today. 47 major titles

Phil Taylor at 30 had zero major titles. Scary.

    Edit: Taylor had 2

47 Major titles? he has 11 by my count. Are you including all the tour events as majors.

    World Ch'ship Winner (3): 2014, 2017, 2019
    World Matchplay Winner (2): 2015, 2016
    World Grand Prix Winner (4): 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018
    Grand Slam Winner (3): 2015, 2016, 2017

    Apologies.

47 televised tournaments he has won, plus 75 non televised tour events.

That doesn't include the 2006 winmau world masters which was a higher standard than the PDC at the time.
You left out the UK open and players championship too, although not one of the big 4, they're still major titles.

Can't watch tonight but I've a substantial bet on Evetts, Aspinall and De Zwann hitting the highest checkout in their match's and Clemens to beat Barney.

Some great darts yesterday...apart from the final

All of the QF's went to a deciding leg, the pick of which was MvG vs Aspinall both played great with MvG edging it
Then Chizzy does what Chizzy does best, completely threw it away against MvG in the semi...missed a load of match darts, including with 3 match darts in hand, hit d9 when going for d12 and then bust on d3 ...u couldn't make it up

Once again MvG showed why he's the best, there's some stat now whereby he's won something like 20 games in a row in a final leg decider, so good at getting it done when the pressure is on ..
Final was a mis-match with Ian White getting a good ole hammering

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,464 ✭✭✭Ultimate Seduction

Strange yesterday, MvG looked completely out of form all day yet still average over 100 all day. That 135 against aspinal sums him up.

Pro tour tomorrow and Wednesday, never heard of mid week tournaments before, doubt any premier league players will be there? Anderson announced his come back

Good run for the Irish today. Nathan Rafferty beat some good players only to lose to Barney who's on a mission it seems.
Willie and Brendan still going .
Gary Anderson went out in round 1 6-1 to gert nentjes.
Suprised most of the PL layers entered
