Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Interviewer: where do you go from here? Have you your eyes on the main event tonight?

Victor: eh, that's two weights below me.

Something that didn't cross my mind but Macklin is right, Fowler is a Middleweight. He boxed at 75kg in the Olympics. To suddenly drop 11lbs in you're late 20's and feel comfortable just doesn't sound right. I doubt it makes a difference in the grand scheme of things.

I agree. It's not healthy, especially not having done it for years.

Donovan v McAfee next on TG4

Jesus, I always love watching Sam Eggington fight, irrespective of the result.

    He's so bloody honest.

Fowler debuted as a pro at 157.5 and has never weighed any more than that in his pro career. Fitzgerald is actually the heavier man.

Hope he retires after this though, not nice to see him taking so many clean shots.

Jesus are they going to replay the finish or What?
Fair play Donovan with the cupla focail

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    That was tough to watch.

Can't believe Eggington is only 25!

I know where you're coming from, but he's still only 25 and I certainly think he can compete at British title level, so why stop?

    Smith is levels above him.

McAfee was tailor made for Eric really. Made him look like Lomachenko. Lovely finish.

I actually thought he was closer to 30! Didn't realize he was still relatively young so retirement talk a bit premature alright.

The Spanish lad Kerman Lejarraga who recently beat Bradley Skeete and Frankie Gavin just got absolutely hammered by David Avanesyan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,914 ✭✭✭Morrison J

That Lejarraga never impressed me. Frankie Gavin was soundly outboxing him till he gassed after like 3 rounds..

Really have little idea on what either McKenna brothers ceiling is but Aaron looked brilliant tonight

No wonder Josh Kelly ducked Avanesyan

all the we said 10 not 12 rounds and "illness" carry on, his arse went.
