Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What are some short-term trainings and certificates that will get me a job

Hi, I was wondering if there are any short-term trainings/course I can do and certificates I can get that will make me employable right away? An example of such would be a Fork Lift Driver certificate. By short term I mean anything from a few days to a couple of months.
What other such options are there?

Security Guard - there are 2 types - 1 is quite basic, but still licensed.

Safe Pass might get you on to a building site. Construction is classed as 'essential' so it might be an option.

GMP might be an option - not cheap though...

PSA is a good one, but do keep in mind the market is massively flooded with people since the initial lockdown as the training and qualification could all be done online.

Thank you both for the answers. If you or anyone else knows of any other options, please keep them coming.

This sounds pretty good to me as an option.
Will I be able to easily get an entry level job (in Pharma) if I do the "Conversion Course into Pharma"?

If something only requires a short course to get the basic qualification, you can be sure that the competition will be strong and that those landing the job have more to offer than just that basic qualifications.

Better to ask what were the actual qualifications of those that landed the job.

Always always check if what youre paying for is accredited, otherwise its not worth the paper itll be written on. A terrible lot of these courses promise the stars when in reality you just click through a few slides made 10 years ago. Its always worth emailing them beforehand and asking about the course - usually, they either tell you who it is accredited by or give you a bull**** excuse that theyre in the process of being accredited and offer you a discount
