Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it a new thing to advertise BMWs by their E number, ie it's an E36 instead of just saying what it actually is by calling it a 318i?

Is it not similar to selling a Golf as a Golf mk5, which could be anything from a 1.4 to a 3.2 or petrol or diesel?

Proof it was enthuasiast owned :)

E30 and E36 its very common. All others would be a 3 series or a 3 1 8 d or whatever... The older ones werent so much about the engine as they were the chassis.

Also bonus points for a picture of the arch/skirt with fresh mud sprayed on it, whatever the purpose of that is!

    And lets not overlook the engine bay with;
    Dumpvalve on the intake pipe
Volvo rocker cover with no less than 5 breather filters
Underbonnet gauges to read ... what I've no idea

The bumpers on the mk 2.5 focus are notorious for coming undone from the wing at exactly the point where those connections are - they are definitely not just cosmetic!

That focus springs to mind when I wonder what a car would look like if it got coronavirus.

These particular vans are bombproof, I rang the guy selling this about a month ago only to be told "Look I've had a few offers to buy at full price but I'm not sure I want to sell it, what you do is call up with the cash and if I'm in a good mood I might sell it to ya".

I said "What? It's a long journey for me, are you looking to sell or not?"

Hard shaw say's in his best tough man voice " I might sell it to ya but you mightn't make it out of the estate with it if you know what I mean".

Me "Are you actually retarded or are you threatening me?"

Skanger " Ehh, sorry, thanks for your interest, the van isn't for sale any longer. Thank you. Bye."

I can only assume he likes random people to ring his phone because he's very lonely.

He has renewed the ad many, many times over the last few months.

And just like every other transit of that era, when you turn on the indicator, every light in the rear cluster will flash intermittently, except the actual indicator...

Or, if they’re Kast ones from micksgarage, the whole unit will melt as soon as you leave the rear fogs on a few minutes.

Easily fixed with 4" grinder, a sheet of metal and a welder.

It's usually only small patches need replacing, spray on some sealer then and she'll fly through the test.

Just need to buy a black vest then for yourself and a big pair of hoopy earrings for the wife.
