Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody know any good books on these topics ?

I'm esp interested in how/if Bulletin boards pick up on new info/ideas and feed them back into the media.

A general search under virtual ethnography should return some hits from anthropology, ill post some links when im at my computer. Barbara O' Connor published an article in the irish journal of sociology last year on womens discussion forums which may be of interest. Most society/technology readers will contain chapters. For a more abstract context, manual castels is probably essential reading for anyone interested in this area. Did you have anything more specific in mind?
