Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A friend is looking to get a laptop in the 500 euro range to help them for work. Basic things needed such as being able to run office, powerpoint, word etc. On top of that general internet usage and streaming. Nothing too strenuous but at the same time doesnt want something that grinds to a halt.

Anyone any recommendations? Any good deals in PC World these days?

buy this for £530 and sell the gift choice with the highest value - probably the smartwatch

so will cost overall about €500 or a shade more

you'd get at least €70 for that watch new-in-box

    use addresspal etc

leagues ahead of any of the plastic tat in currys in the 400 to 700 price range.

pcworld are selling it for 780 euro lol. and no free watch

Thanks for this Glasso, saw this mentioned in another post and liked the look of it. I was in Curry's recently and found a lot of their laptops had this greyish hue on their screens despite all being declared as Full HD 1080p, with only a few in this price range showing a clearer picture.

I noticed the Magicbook 14 and 15 are the same price. Was expecting some price difference there but specs look identical.

the battery is smaller in the 15, bigger/longer in the 14.

    14 is a good bit more portable / ultrabook @ 1.38kg
