27' or 32' HD Monitor

Looking to get a new monitor. Both HD. Going to be a work screen and some gaming. Assuming i'll only be a couple of feet away would a 32' HD monitor be any good?

I have a 27 and it's plenty big for me. I would be moving my head if I was gaming on a 32. Go into pc world and stand next to the 32.

If you're only going HD (1080p) then both might be too big for work and gaming up close.

I think a 27" QHD (1440p) is still considered the sweetspot. What refresh rate you go for after that depends on the games you play and if your GPU can output at that rate. 60Hz seems to be the minimum, with 120Hz+ being the goal for FPS/action games.
