Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone here PERSONALLY recommend a reputable overseas dental implant clinic. One that doesn't require a remortgage, or the trading of an organ like if you go to anyone in Ireland.

Didn't look after my teeth when I was a kid and was afraid of my life of dentists after a couple of horrific experiences so I didn't go anywhere near them, but about 15 years ago I plucked up the courage and went and got them seen to. Had to have have a few removed and 7 crowns. So now I need to have 7 crowns replaced (all front) and 3-5 implants (3 top front and 1 or 2 back). I clean everyday so what I have seem solid. I'm pushing 40 and smoke a bit.

an awful lot of work relatively speaking then needed. smoking tends to be a factor in gum disease and therefore loss of bone. and u need that to put an implant in.
some dentists remove gum diseased rear molars(maybe wisely but expensive)and replace them with implants as gum diseased molars especially uppers are terminal in alot of cases.
to be honest im setting up in mid wales in the uk at the moment just fitting the place out. i toyed with advertising in ireland and getting patients for advanced dentistry but to be honest with the long commutes and peoples other priorities i didnt think it was a great idea and still dont. peoples expectations in the uk and quality of work in a lot of cases is low so i thought it would be a good way to get in valuable fees as people are incredibly price sensitive there but after some consideration dropped the idea.
being very honest hi end care like you need is time consuming and very expensive regardless of the country you are in and sometimes alot of it doesnt work in one way or another especially with crowns and root canals done to highly damaged teeth. u need aftercare and a good relationship based on trust. and that takes time to develop and u may also have to spend a bit of time looking.
i wouldnt necessarily go with the cheapest or the dearest but theres a happy medium there definately, id start by looking locally. hope that helps

This is a huge an complicated ammount of work.....if you want it to last another 15 years I would suggest you get a referal to a specialist. Yes it will cost more but you will get a better job done that will last longer. Cheap dentistry is a false economy. Every euro you save now you will repay 5 fold later on.
