Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know where I can buy a power cable like the image below, in Dublin. I'd ideally like to be able to buy it for collection, rather than waiting for post. A turntable I bought only came with an EU 2 pin head on it. Cheers!

You should be able to buy one of those in any electrical shop, even some supermarkets. Its often referred to as a figure of eight lead, it's a very standard lead 2or3 € should do it.

Or just cut off the 2 pin plug and replace it with a UK 3 pin instead?

OP, are you sure you don't have one of those cables in the house? If you retired a TV or VCR or DVD player in the past few years, you could have one of those cables in a spares drawer. I'd be surprised if you'd need to buy one.

There are only two wires ? The brown goes to the one closest to the fuse, the blue to the one beside it, the Earth ( longest pin) is left empty.

Save yourself time and money :)
