Does anyone make much money in online poker?

A lot of people think it's rigged.

There was, once, an RNG that was flawed and exploitable. About 22 years ago.

There was, once, a site that allowed a group of players to view other player's hole cards. About 15 years ago.

I am personally for all intents and purposes certain that none of the major online poker sites still operating today have either of the above issues, but that's because I've worked for a few of them.

But there are no shortages of people who think it's rigged based on their own experience (largely driven by their own biased observations and recollections of the hands they see)... and people MASSIVELY overestimate how much additional money an operator can make from cheating in the ways described above.

It doesn't matter if the sites are rigged, nobody is going to win money anyway.

Its basically a solved game, the playerbase is now nothing but nits using software that tells them the optimal play at every point, so now all they do is pass money around and pay the rake. There is no point to it any more.
