Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Very interesting live press conference going on at the moment that I just came across. It brings up a very sensitive and controversial topic.
    When Australian academic David Goodall turned 104 last month, his wish was to die. Goodall, whose health has deteriorated in the last few years, has travelled to Switzerland to undergo voluntary euthanasia tomorrow.

    Goodall is not terminally ill, but says no one has the right to interfere if he wishes to end his own life.

    Euthanasia Philosophy may be a better title to encompass this issue of discussion, along with references to philosophies and philosophers that have addressed this topic? Certainly the specific Goodall example given in the OP is a grand one to discuss against this larger issue.
