Really Anxious about Finishing College?

Hi everyone. I’m about to graduate with an honors degree in Social Care in 5 weeks time. I have absolutely no clue what I want to do after it. I don’t have a full driving license so a lot of the jobs are out of my reach. Agency work is how most people start off but I’m not sure I want to do this as the hours are unpredictable and irregular.

I can’t stay in my current job as I have a very small contract with no hope of an increase in hours. I’m not even sure if I really want to work in Social Care. I’m nearly regretting my decision.

Anyone out there have any advice for me? Anyone been in the same position?

Hiya, I would look into doing a postgraduate course. You get a chance to specialise, like H. Dip in education, or a masters degree in public policy. You could also consider academia. I would research the **** out of courses within your interests and try to adapt it and then your undergrad won't go to waste. You'd be be surprised what they ask for, for your minimum requirements. That will also up your chances of getting a job after it.
