Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Last Cattle/Sheep raid in Ireland

I'm interested to find out more information on the practice of cattle raids or sheep raids in Ireland

Basically where animals would be stolen and then driven back to be sold in another place

I have been informed that the last documented large scale cattle/sheep raid in Ireland happened during the War of Independence or Civil War from Roscommon into Fermanagh.

    Can anyone verify this?
