Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So it's high tide around 3:30 so we will be against the tide.

Someone who is definitely not on anyone's radar is Aidan Robertson. If he gets a good handicap he will fly, also someone who will get up will be Bernard Sweeney.

But I reckon Keith Fay will win it this year....:pac::pac::pac::rolleyes:

Oh....Ceall O Dunlaing will be up there also.

Shay Dillion is swimming well also, he could be the surprise...

    Shay Dillion

    Blush !
I reckon if Conor Turner is on anything lower than 14 minutes he'll do it this year.

Good to see someone has me on their radar :P I doubt I've been doing enough training this year but who knows.

My picks are Cian Connaughton, Ceall O Dunlaing, and Ciaran Balfe

So handicaps are out. Any favourites?

Declan Harte has a fine handicap!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 647 ✭✭✭Freddio

Declan has a good chance all right.
    Also
    Ciaran Balfe
    Jody Clarke
    Karl Schneider

There's a lot of names around the 5/6 minute mark I don't know

Best of luck to everyone doing the liffey tomorrow. For me it was always the highligh of the year, a great buzz before and after. The pints in Mulligan are great craic all together. Having done it for almost 20 years it's the one I do really miss. Feckn shoulders are shot unfortunately.
Enjoy the day ..my motto when my brothers used to ask me why I put myself through all the hard training and racing was " because I can " as someday I knew I wouldn't be able to.

Yup agreed...he is very good Declan especially the last few hundred meters, good sprint in him.. he would be a popular winner if he won....Good luck to everyone.
